Note to doofus at the next table over
Mar. 31st, 2004 11:46 pmYa know, I may actually mostly agree with you; there are aspects of factory farming that are entirely inexcusable; and the complete gutting of the regulatory agencies involved --- so that the corresponding businesses have no choice but to follow the latest trends in animal concentration if they want to stay profitable/competitive --- is only one of many reasons that it may yet be 20 years before I'll once again be able to vote Republican at the federal level with anything resembling a clear conscience.
But, for the love of God, do you to have to lecture in a voice that can be heard all throughout the room
about prions and the process of rendering animals into animal feed?
In a restaurant??
You know, a place where idiots like me are trying to eat dinner???
I felt sorry for his date.
