so let's see, I stopped reading a bunch of mailing lists so that I'd actually have time to Do Stuff and now I have a LiveJournal. Yeah, this makes sense.

the A word

It actually does rather bother me that the therapist folks brought up the "A"-word before either of us did.

"So umm,... do you know about 'autism'?"

"Well, I've certainly heard the word before..."
(Hey, I saw "Rain Man", so I know all of the Hollywood stereotypes. And I also got to see billg rock back and forth a few times. Does that count?)
